Miami-Dade Fire Rescue celebrates the promotion of 20 firefighters |

The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department (MDFR) will celebrate the promotion of 20 firefighter’s ceremony on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. The ceremony will be held at the Metro Dade Fire Fighters IAFF Local 1403 Union Hall, located 8000 N.W. 21 Street at 2:00 p.m. The newly promoted officers will include three Division Chiefs, two Captains, and fourteen Lieutenants. In addition, we will also recognize the recently promoted Beach Safety Manager, Lifeguard 2, and Dispatch Supervisor. “These newly promoted officers have stepped up to the plate,” said Fire Chief William W. Bryson. “They have solidified their roll in guiding the future of our great department.
